Frequently asked questions.
Is coaching right for me?
If you’re here, it’s probably because there’s something going on in your life or your career that feels like it could be improved. Pivot with Chloe is best suited for professionals who are ready to invest in a journey of introspection, guided exploration, and personal experimentation. We don’t achieve change through sameness - we achieve change by deeply understanding ourselves, embracing the discomfort, and trying something new. In our work together, we’ll honor your culture and values, help you establish a clear vision and measurable goals, and co-create action and accountability plans that will move you in the direction of the life you seek.
How much time do I need to invest in coaching?
It all depends on you! There are many factors that impact what you’ll get out of coaching, including how much time and energy you put into the process. We begin with a complementary consultation so that I can learn more about your goals and you can evaluate whether Pivot with Chloe is right for you at this time. After that, clients will typically commit to an initial 6-week period of coaching. Each week, we’ll meet for a 50-minute telecoaching session and for best results, you’ll invest in at least 1 hour of reflection and assessments.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or psychotherapy. Therapy is a wonderful process in which you work with a licensed healthcare professional to analyze your past experiences and assess your present systems to relieve suffering and achieve a healthy state of being. With coaching, we’ll focus on your present self and systems to clarify your goals, identify barriers, and build forward-facing action plans. If you’re unsure of what’s right for you, we can discuss your unique goals and needs during a free consultation call.
How much do Pivot with Chloe coaching services cost?
I offer a FREE 20-minute consultation via video conference so that we can discuss what brings you to coaching and how I might be able to help. My standard rate is $150 for a 50-minute session and includes access to the Client Portal with curated resources, assessments, and exercises. Fees are subject to change. Check with your employer to see if coaching is covered under professional development benefits and/or under FSA/HSA accounts.
